In 2011 the World Junior Hockey tournament was in Buffalo NY, being Canadian and a hockey fan... watching the World Junior Hockey has always been a tradition usually starting December 26.
Since the tournament was relatively close to our town (13 hours haha) a bunch of guys bought tickets for the Bronze, Silver and Gold medal games. They invited my friend Eric, his son and myself to go with them.
Canada played Russia in the Gold Medal game and the atmosphere was something I have never seen before, the arena was covered in red and it was loud. As for sports memories, this one has to be near the top of the list.
